No if worse comes to worse , I'll get them to Chommer's studio before the car goes back and we'll work it our from there .
OK, well, if necessary I'll pick you up from somewhere. Do we have a 'Glocke' to transport? If so, how big is it? (ie: will it fit in an Astra?)

Not built it yet , plan for next weekend .
Was to be about 5 foot high by about 2 foot round .
Unless it isn't there any more but UCAP have the 'wired in' alarm system (we used it last time) so is there any need to bring the air-raid siren?

They have a wired in klaxon type system. I chatted to Andy about it yesterday, as a backup in case we couldnt bring the air raid siren.

Well, its going to be interesting.
I'm taking Forester down, Guy may not have his car. Talking to Che today - he can pick up Guy as he has a people carrier now and then Del on the way down. I could then pick up Stephen on the way down. Three people will mean I have little room for props.
What is possible and what isn't possible hinges on whether Guy has a car or not!

If it comes down to it I'll drive. Bit of a PITA because I really can't afford it at the moment......hence my previous suggestion that we cover our petrol costs out of the kitty for the actual games.

OK, Reorganisation time.
1: Guy - Don't bother with building Die Glocke - UCAP have the "reactor room" that will do the job, and transport looks to be a MAJOR issue.
2: Guy - Don't bother with the air raid siren, we'll use their klaxon.
3: David - I just need signage from you - i'll deal with the Maps.
4: Steven - Gloop and glowsticks please.
5: All - Bring all the Flags/Propaganda Posters you have (plus hammers/nails/gaffatape/zipties etc)
6: I'll bring the field telephones, ammo boxes, cable reels, radio station, folding table, Labcoats, Intel Files and random rubbish.
That OK?
Questions: Who has the CD players and Sound FX CD's?, and what we doing about MedLab stuff?

Hmmm, signage? Doubt I'll have time for that now - I had no idea I was supposed to be doing anything this time.
I have one CD player with no battery - I gave you that at Husky. Yith has the others so I'll ask him to bring them to Glocke, doubt the batteries will be any good though.

Hmmm, Gloop...I'll order that today.
Already got glowsticks.
Had you had any thoughts about the UV lamp and glow paint at all?
EDIT: 2 x red gloop and 2 x blue gloop kits ordered = lots of purple gloop.
Needs warm water to make it, but I believe they have an urn which will work.

Gloop is good. What containers are you thinking of for it? (If you cant think of any, i'll see what I can "acquire" at work) UV lamp - whats that for?
David - i'll deal with signage
CD players - are they all 6V jobs? (and how many do we have anyway?) - i'll bring one as well

I'm not sure what the voltage is - you have one of the batteries.
I'll PM Yith about the other three players...

I'm not thinking of any containers.....getting something from your work would be good. Otherwise I can try and source some cheap metal pails this weekend.
UV lamp is something that we spoke about aaaaages ago which I thought might be good for some sort of mission. Write on a something with UV paint which is only visible under UV light and they have to take it to where the lamp is to read it. Might be too anachronistic.....

Right gents, I'm pretty much at the end of my tether at the moment. Work sucks & two exams next week - which i've been revising like an absolute cunt for. Insomnia is back with a vengeance as well, so all-in i'm pretty fucking stressed. Quite frankly, there's a couple of things I need a hand with.
David - If I email the maps to you (player and organiser ones), can you print them off please. Nowt fancy, A4 for the punters, A3 for us organisers. 50 for the punters gives a few spare, and one each for the four of us.
Guy - Just bring the Enigma machine, test tubes and the Sound FX CD's please.
Steven - Have you got the lightsticks yet? - and hows the Gloop going?
I also need a volunteer to sort out bandages. Any takers?
And finally (i've asked this already, elsewhere), How many people - including us - do we have for this event as I need to let Andy know for the lunches
Right, back to revision on the wonderful world of Actus Reas and Mens Reas (prolly spelt wrong, but its been a loooooooooong day)

CD Players - I have one, Yith will be bringing the other three with him to the game
CD player batteries - Jay has one (I gave it to you at Husky for charging) but we will need three others. They are 12v.
Maps - I'll print them off - please email ASAP
Bandages - I only have scraps, Guy needs to check if he has them.
Flags - I'll bring Brit and German ones. Do we have the huge German one ordered?
Catering - I'm pretty sure its 40 players, 4 organisers, Helga and Gavin - (41 paying punters) so that is a total of 46 for food.

Got glowsticks and gloop. Will need to mix gloop on the morning, but this will only take a minute.
Will any small 12 volt motorcycle type battery do? I can get some from the shop near me if necessary. Those radios are very useful for other games too.
Yes, at the moment we have 40 players, but this may go up to 41 if someone takes the final Allied place left by Ramsay's absence.
I'll also see if I can get some metal flower pots or cheap containers for the gloop. Might we worth checking with Andy to see if he has any oils drums that are useable too.
S

Re batteries. The need to be sealed lead acid batteries not car/bike type liquid acid batteries (for safety and convenience).
I don't think they need a fantastic capacity - they cost about £13 each, chargers £19 - a total budget of £77 incl delivery

If we order them quickly there will be time to charge up before the game!!

David - Maps will be over Sunday evening by email. I'll inform Andy that its a total of 45 for lunch (I skip lunches and survive on choc and biccies at Airsoft sites. Three cases of "Montezumas revenge" at sites over the years tends to put me off site catering a bit lol)
Steve - If you could pick up three of those batts please. As to Oil drums, yes, there are some down in the tunnels, but not a lot of use - as they ain't exactly see through lol. I'll dig around and get some see through thingies.
Fuck-off sized Jerry flag is somewhere between the US and here at the moment. 50/50 on whether it turns up in time (been shipped 2 weeks already!
)
With regards to bandages, If Guy can confirm/deny whether he has them by Tuesday. If not, i'll sort a new batch out.

I bought two large metal containers for gloop from Sainburys for a tenner each today. They're useful for the future because their intended use is a 'beer cooler buckets'. They're oval about 2' at the widest part.
I might be able to put a couple of plastic bowls in them with a torch underneath to make them glow!!
I'll check the delivery time on those batteries and order them tomorrow.

Sounds excellent to me ![]()
Had a shufty round work the other day, and the only transparent containers I could find are slightly on the, er, *large* side. Hell, not actually sure I could get 'em in the car.....
The new prop radio is almost finished - looks a fook sight better than the last one. Just got to pick up a set of el cheapo powered speakers to go inside to run off one of my MP3 players and its good to go!
**edit**
Picked up a 100kg load sack truck from Focus yesterday for the bargain price of 16 quid - should make shifting the kit into/out of UCAP a *lot* easier.
